A wonderful children's area! It is very large, they have a shelf of games to play, an entire row of parenting books and educational books. A fun place, even for just a passing visitor like us. Waiting for the ferry to get in.

Most beautiful library in Skagit/Island counties. Well-stocked selection with caring employees.
One of the best libraries in Washington State. It has a room full of very affordable second hand books for sale managed by Friends of the Libraries. There are some free books and magazines as well. Also, there is a a shelf of canned goods for th3 needy displayed right before the inner entrance. The restrooms are clean. The whole library area is super clean and has the comfortable, warmth ambience. All the personnel are pleasant and helpful.
They are a great library but they reorganize the books all the time, this makes it really hard to memorize where my favorite books and book series are.
