Anacortes Fire Department Station 1

Somewhat questionable wiring in the crawlspace of the house we were renting at the time decided that December of 2013 would be a fabulous time to finally arc and catch fire. The speed, proficiency, skill, and compassion of what seemed like the entire Anacortes Fire Department that day saved almost all of the house and kept most of our possessions from being destroyed. All this time later, we still talk about how professional and humble everyone was that day. I hope we never have to meet these folks in the same capacity again, but, God forbid if we do, I know we'll be in the best of hands. Thanks again, AFD!!!!

The Firefighters and Paramedics at the Anacortes Fire Department are awesome. I had a great time working with all those great people. They helped me with any questions that I had let me help with the open house. My favorite part was being able to ride in the fire truck for the holiday parades. Thanks for keeping the Anacortes community safe and putting yourself out there for all of us.
