Look I know that Troy is an academic school and all but being a tech student here is very demanding and it takes a lot of sacrifice. Staying up till at least midnight every day just to complete homework is very tedious, and the school days (for me) are long being from 7-4:15. I do not recommend unless you are willing to throw the fun out of your life to get a better education and get into a good university.
My son is a Junior at Troy Tech. He loves it. The teachers are fantastic! I agree with him - i see it every time i go for the annual parent teacher daynand meet them. The program is demanding and as my son says Try Tech is not for everybody - you need a lot of internal motivation to do this and also have a life outside of school.
Great academic blue ribbon school. I have two children that graduated from Troy.
There band is awsome wish I can go there for high school but going to gahr high school next year because it's in my district but still troy high school band and colorguard are awsome my favorite is when they did Harry Potter
