This school staff has no understanding of what communication is. Posts on the website are outdated some by more than a decade. Listed phone numbers are not all correct, and do not belong to whomever is listed. Messages on phones are months or years old. The magnet has no available directory to give you a staff members direct number, that's when your lucky enough to have them answer the phone. No call back if you leave a message, no response if you send an email. They do not contact you if an issue arises with your kid. A foreign language teacher believes that you should know the alphabet, numbers to 200, general greetings, and names of body parts from 3 1/2 hours of teaching. They will transfer you back if you do not preform well enough so they keep numbers up. You kid will be stuck doing 4 hours of homework, and still not pass. The saddest part of all of it, nobody even realizes how much better of an education their kids deserve. Too much of this staff is complacent, and not trying to help any kid, just collecting a paycheck.

Pedro high wasn't perfect but i had a lot of great memories while i was there. Sadly i had to move so i wasn't here for my junior year and most likely won't be able to attend again for my senior year :(

Great atmosphere, diverse population, small town feel in a larger school that offers many academic and sports activities.

Loved the Graduation Ceremony on June 8th.

The fights and bullying at this school are ridiculous. Then when you try and get the dean and counselors help to stop other students from bullying them, they basically laugh in your face. So my son got tired of being bullied, beat another kid up and then the dean wants to talk about the problem. San Pedro High also allowed the parent of the student my son got in a fight with, to antagonize him after a counselor/student meeting yesterday.
