Stopped in for gas, and before my wife could turn the car off Jackson was over washing our windows. He was very meticulous, and he did a great job. It's been years since I've been to a gas station that offers that. He was very friendly, and had a huge smile on his face. He asked where we were from, and asked us about our trip. It was fun talking to him.

Very friendly and helpful gal at the counter. Lots of options for light snacking and drinks. Average small town mechanic services to help get you out of a jam.

So far not good vibes. Towed the car of a good friend which broke down on I70 but won't take credit card over the phone to even look at the problem!

A couple of years ago My family and I were traveling through Utah on a summer trip to see the in-laws. As I pulled out of Green River that morning I noticed my Suburban was short of power. After 20 miles or so it was really bad. Granted i was climbing some serious grades, but I was down to 15 - 20 MPH at times! Unfortunately it is 120 miles between cities out there and there was no place on I-70 to turn around. We finally hit the downhill portion and I got the Suburban up to about 40 and finally limped into Richfield and saw the Chevron station with the service bays. We've all seen the movies "family on a trip has car trouble in the desert southwest and gets screwed by the servicestation" I do have some mechanical knowledge and had determined that the problem was likely a fuel filter or possibly a pump. I asked if they could replace the fuel filter and the air filter. They got right on it; as we were waiting for the parts house to bring filters the boss came in and asked me to come look at something. He said I had a bad tire. "Here it comes" I thought. He asked if I had noticed any shimmey in the steering wheel and I told him that, in fact, I had and was going to look into it when we got to our destination. He showed me the front tire that had evidence of broken belts. (totally bald in one spot) I asked If he could put the spare on and he suggested a used tire (looked like new) that he would put on for $60 then we looked at the other front tire and found a bad spot in that one also he had another used tire, not quite as good as the first one and offered them both to me for $100. When he had the front tires off He had me look at the brake pads, which I knew were about shot, but hadn't had time to replace, so I told him to replace them. One of his mechanics noticed a screw in my back tire and they removed it and plugged the hole. finally they got the filters and brake shoes in and got me out of the shop. Now I ended up with about $200 worth of tires, new air and fuel filters and brake shoes, a repaired rear tire and about 1.5 hours of labor. All for just $350. I know it seems like a rip-off pulling in for a couple of filters and spending $350. But the tires were dangerously bad and the brakes were very thin. In most shops I would have spend $500 - $600 and it would have taken all day. They had me out in a couple of hours, most of the time was spent waiting for the parts house to deliver the filters and brake shoes. Great people and great service!!!
