Alliance Susan & Eric Smidt Technology High School

This school at the corner of Ave 20 has created more traffic hazards then ever. The school still hasn't address the issue of their students roaming around after class in the street or crossing during busy traffic or even disregarding it, it's a lawsuit waiting to happen. It's busy during 2:30-5 so good luck trying to find parking to your house if get out work at this time had to park one street down. Better yet there is new skate shop that opened directly in front of the school attracting those same students who now hang around loiter and skate in front of the school and street which is almost always traffic flooded when these kids stick around. Go home or to the park is all I'm saying. Also if they were gonna build a school why do it in a small condensed area with no school yard just a uneven, very sloped, broken concrete parking lot where the kids eat and play (again lawsuit waiting to happen). Better then that when students go out for P.E they nonchalantly walk unattended or unsupervised to Downey Park! The school is very disorganized in matters such as this. The staff is whole another can of worms, all of which are all young people who act like friends not teachers to the students and don't give two cents about the people who live on this street and the stupid traffic and parking problems they are causing and ignoring. Maybe it's lack of staff, negligence of staff's teaching habbits or it's them giving trust to the students. Nonetheless it's effecting the area and us who live in it are only seeing the negative side of this school with very little positive.

Nice, finally a billionaire who cares about the future of children in this country. Would love to follow the same example in New York City and Atlanta one day.....

Horrible schoolnThey say they prepare you for college but once you go to college everything you supposobly learned at the school was like 2-3 gradenThey dont teach nothingnI ask my daughter how does the president win the election and she said they never taught her that in schoolnDont put your kids in this schoolnSend them to a public schoolnNow i understand why my other daughter got kicked out of Cal State LAnShe couldn't pass mathnShe had a 3.5 high school gpa but in the real world it was like a 1.5nShe would tell me that all they would do is Google the answers for math and just talk after when donenCan't blame her for getting kicked out of Cal State LAnNeed to blame myself as a parent for taking my children to this horrible school that i thought was going to get them college ready

The service here was excellent! Parking was terrible and the menu is pretty limited, but the service! I did not expect such a high standard, now I go everyday weekday. This place get's pretty packed though, so get here early!
