I moved here 15 years ago. It took me only one year to realize that I needed to be more afraid of the police than the perps. Anyway, I was in a restaurant yesterday morning, sitting next to 8-10 policemen (all men) who were eating breakfast also. I think the APD men need to be careful what they talk about in public. I was astounded by their talk yesterday. And my opinion of the APD men has not changed one bit. 15 years -- and they are still little boys playing cops. This has to end.

I reported my stolen property to them. Simple task, no issues.

My motorcycle was hit in a parking lot at work and the suspect neglected to leave any kind of note. At first there was a lot of back and forth between APD and another agency. The other agency even came out to take a report for my insurance. However, they passed the buck back onto APD. By the fourth "buck-passing" session, I was able to get some answers. APD Operator #3636 took great care to make sure I was given the right information, which is: I can make a station report for the incident tomorrow. The operator was very patient with my situation and even allowed me to vent for a few minutes before I let her go. This calmed me down a bunch and made everything much less overwhelming. APD, please give your operators a solid handshake for me and keep up the good work! Thanks!

Was involved in a hit and run. Car side swipes me then takes off when I pull on the shoulder. Call 911 and they tell me to wait for an officer to make a report. I no how that goes so I follow the people who hit me to a gas station 2 miles from where the accident happened. Once apd shows I tell them what happened then they take my info and tell to wait in my car. After 10 minutes they come back tell me there is nothing they can do because the other driver claimed they were scared and left the scene of an accident because they were scared of me because I was following them. Well yeah I'm going to follow them if they hit my brand new car and run. I guess hit and run is ok in this town. Luckily my car was had only minor damage that I could fix on my own. 2nd time this has happened in a year. This is ridiculous. And people wonder why everyone is leaving this state. It's not safe to be a person who works a normal job and doesn't cause trouble. The criminals can do what they like and get a slap on the hand

There is no law when the cops lie! Dishonesty! Just like racist trumpy!
