New Designs Charter Schools-Watts

I have 3 children attending the school I would not recommend anybody coming here unless some of the staff would be replaced.....they don't care about safety they are never aware about the grades it's always excuses they let kids walk around the campus and mind me saying it's a small campus why does it happen....the security sitting in the front said to me after I questioned him about what were wis duties because he couldn't tell me what period it was that his duties we're to take care of the cars meaning the staffs cars in the front and that he was there to let kids out for lunch and to open the gate bit wait he is a security that mean secure the school if there is a fight he don't go to try n stop it always on the phone and with earplugs on.....the athletic program don't really support any sport like they should to me meaning they were times I had to give rides to student to wherever they were gonna have a game including the athletic director and cheer coach which to me was very nice of them but not their responsibility......football basketball and soccer season more then half the time they don't bring water for the players.....if I'm bring all this up is to inform of how some things run in here some might not care but I do.....if you have a child with an IEP defitnetly not the school to come....they challenged my son more in elementary then here at this school taught him more expected more from him therefor he put an effort more...they change the classes so many time and that affect the student to me because like my child has a problem with transition and that may be the case with some....office lost my son's transcripts one time....like I said with the right people things can be different not because the school is in watts means the staff don't have to do there job.....I can say there is SOME wonderful teacher here that do care about the student education.....so if you want your child attending this school investigate first do your research I thought I did

Worst school ever dont come here they dont even give lunch some teacher's Are ok and some lazy like the pe teacher

i been here for a while i would say about 5 years now this schoolis pretty good and bad at the same time the teacher here don't get pay enough to do their job right the kid here are really dramatic and and destructive it seem like their parents didn't even rise them the way they support to act. the fact that school get pay well but can't even buy supplies for there own teacher to teach and the teacher are annoyed by this that they have to spent what the school pay them to buy supplies for they can teach

I went here for 3 years it's not that bad but it needs work

The school is dirty the yard is small and dirty there is a lot of bad kids there and there only a little bit of good teacher i dislike the school
