Gig Harbor Gondola

Oh man! What a fun little adventure, our gondolier was John and he was the must fun! He shared little stories about some of the properties in the harbor, sang us a little tune, made us feel like we were old friends catching up!nnWe cannot wait to join again in the winter months to see all the Christmas lights!nnWe got the appetizer which I highly recommend so you have a little bite to eat! We wish we would have done the 90 minutes over the 60!

My family has enjoyed our gondola experience twice. Last month and again yesterday! So relaxing. First my husband and I went with our eldest daughter and her husband for an enchanting sunset trip! The tide was coming in and brought small leaping fish across the harbor, a seal was following them! Our Gondolier shared harbor history as we smoothly viewed the activities.nLast night my youngest daughter, son-in-law and three grandchildren 8, 4, and 2 years greeted “Ciao” to all who passed on a 5:00 trip. They saw seals, a heron in flight and a flock of Canada geese take flight. Watercraft of all types were scurrying about.nGreg was our experienced Gondolier for both trips. We could have been in Venice. Both historical Gondolas were carefully shipped to Gig Harbor from Venice complete with their heritage!

We had a truly wonderful time on our Full Harbor Tour, the weather was perfect and our gondolier was very friendly, knowledgeable of the area and a great person to spend our evening with! I would recommend Gig Harbor Gondola to anyone who wants to have a relaxing time on the water or even for a romantic date! Our gondolier sang a few Italian tunes and played great Italian music. I loved our time and it made me fall even more in love with Washington!

We enjoyed a beautiful Sunday early eve gondola ride of inner Gig Harbor. Greg our gondolier was so very kind and informative of Harbor history. We were serenaded with Santa Lucia as we strolled alongside the beautiful landscape. A light appetizer was provided. A lovely experience and I highly recommend.

John has made this his passion and it shows. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience and all the tidbits of Gig Harbor history. Highly recommend.
