CS Floors Gig Harbor

I hate to be a person that writes bad reviews but this is just too much for me to hold myself back with the poor customer service this company has provided me and my family. In 2015 I hired CS Floors to install all my hardwood flooring and carpeting throughout my entire home. For the most part I was slightly confused when two people came to my project to evaluate the scope of work and provide me an estimate of the costs with the project. For background I'm a homeowner builder that has completed three projects so far over the last 20 years. I am a firefighter by trade but I enjoy doing house projects. Please read all the following information before committing to CS Floors and you will see if you want to continue with this company.nnIn 2015 I had thought that I had made a good choice about choosingnCS Floors because they had installed about 1200 square feet of hardwood flooring and I was concerned about the flooring popping and making noises while walking over the floor. CS Floors listened to my concern and talked with their installer and it seemed that my concern was valid. CS Floors got the factory representative to come out and confirm the floors where out of specifications and my hardwood floors needed to be removed and we had to choose a different product. This was upsetting because I was placed in a position of having to wait longer to complete my home. After being upcharged for hardwoods in stock for my project to be completed on time CS Floors completed the install with floors that seemed to be satisfactory.nnOver the years of having the carpet we had installed I noticed a problem with the carpet having rolls and bumps. I had CS Floors come out and evaluate and they decided upon restretching the carpet. A few years later I called them again and told them the carpet was rolling again and they came out and said that they will restretch the carpet but since I didn't have the carpet professionally cleaned within the time stated in the contract that I would be charged for future repairs. So whatever I decided to hire them again and they charged me just under $400 to have flat carpet again. I am finally to a point when I need the carpet stretched again and CS Floors now wants to try and tell me that the carpet cant be stretched until the factory representative comes out and looks at the carpet. I was told by CS Floors that I would possibly need new carpet because the carpet I bought has since been classified as a batch that wasn't manufactured with proper backing.nnI'm writing this because CS Floors has wasted endless amounts of my precious time to have floors in my home. I will never choose CS Floors again if I have to work with Al the president of CS Floors. The last two times that I have dealt with Al he has treated me like a child that doesn't know anything. Al is the rudest SOB I have ever been in business with. It seems like he has tried to profit twice from installing two hardwood floors for my home and now trying to profit from having all my carpet removed from my home. Please keep in mind that this level of deception is criminal. He has been able to profit of the factory warranty for my hardwood and now my carpet floors.nnIf you are in a position to ever need floors please choose to never work with Al of CS Floors.nnThanks,nnKevin

DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME! I called this Company and they sent an adjuster. He came over to my home to view the project. During the estimate he made an insulting remark about the quality of the flooring.nnAfter waiting for over a week for an estimate, I decided to call them for a follow up. The guy told me he still didn’t have the estimate completed & didn’t know if they could do the project.nnSo I Called the owner to let him know that his employee was rude and potentially cost him business. He too was rude and protective of the employee without any apologies. I told him to cancel my request and I will never do business with them!nnFolks, as paying customers we deserve to be treated with dignity and respect. Especially when you render the same. I don’t believe in wasting peoples time, and I wouldn’t call if I couldn’t afford the work. I’ll pay double before I pay once cent to this company!

Friendly, professional, efficient, personal service in an age where it can be rare. Sean was a great rep. to deal with. One word of advice, if you are doing a DIY project, make sure that you order the right amount of product, as it may take several weeks for certain materials to arrive if you need to order more while you're doing the job

Good people, personalized and professional service! From the moment we walked in the door, to the completion of our floors, our experience was nothing but consistent. I highly recommend CS floors and all of their staff: Al (Owner/President) and Sean (Sales Assoc/Project Manager) are just a pleasure and are real down to earth people and professionals who are easy to work with and really know their stuff. Chris and Rose installed our floors and did a beautiful, thorough and detailed job. Both Nancy and Thai in the office were just as nice as could be and very helpful.
