I started the program with Private Pilot license on April 1st 2018 and started work as an instructor at ATP on April 1st 2019! I really enjoyed being a student at ATP for the flexibility, availability and supports. Given that it was a fast track program, it was challenging to keep up with studying, but If you got the passion, you can do it as well!nI definitely recommend it.
Great place to work and great team to be a part of! Weather in the PNW, especially in the winter, is always a challenge but we make it work. Instructors and management have always been helpful and accessible. Planes are brand new and on-sight maintenance is a great thing to have. Throughout fluctuations in the aviation industry, ATP strives hard to meet airline placements for students.
Completed ATP’s fast track program in August and got the privilege to instruct for them at this location. There’s a reason ATP is among the best flight schools in the world. The level of safety at this school is second to none between the instructors, all the awesome staff at HQ, and the quality aircraft at every location, it’s easy to see why they get recommended almost every time you talk with airline pilots about schools. Oh and the views are incredible out here!
The school provides all the tools to be successful. Excellent aircraft with maintenance on site. If someone wants to springboard an aviation career, this is it. The hobby pilot would be better suited somewhere else.
If you have the passion, and personal discipline to study aviation, you will go far at ATP. The program is very efficiently geared to channel you into a fruitful career in aviation. It certainly is work, and I don’t recommend beginning the program in the fall and winter months because flying here slows down. Other than that, you would be well served by the quality and investment of the instructors at ATP.
