Great place to come and see some truly historic and monumental machinery of the time long gone. Kids (well, most boys, at least) really love trains and they'll get a kick outta these mammoth locomotives here!

I love this museum. I really really do. I’m surprised I’m even giving this place 4 stars, even though we had a major issue. We came to go see some trains, but couldn’t find the entrance. When we called asking where it was, someone answered and told us that the museum was supposed to be open, but wasn’t because no one showed up to work. So, we saw what we could from behind a fence. It had some amazing stuff, but c’mon.

Call to verify their open on Saturday or Sunday you want to go. Went their during open hours and sign on door shoeless closed when it was 1230, and all gates closed.n-3 stars for incorrect hours and wasting good part of my Saturday.
