My child is appreciated for her enthusiasm. Everyone is kind and the older students encourage the younger. I am so glad we are part of this community of dance. It has changed the future for my daughter.

MBT has been such a treasure to our family for many years! The artistry, technicality, beauty, and above all the kind, generous, and healthy atmosphere of the studio and amazing staff has been unparalleled for our dancers. We are so grateful that we found MBT!

I am sure this is a great hobby studio for an adult who would like to experiment with ballet.nnI cannot speak to the actual adult instruction... so this is only based on me TRYING to take a class at the studio. First, several email/phone queries about the adult open classes went unanswered. I then got a text from a volunteer who professionally and helpfully explaining there was no dress code for the adult classes. Unfortunately, he/she did not ALSO include the information that classes were cancelled for adults for the month. So, I arrive at the studio where a kind and welcoming receptionist is unfamiliar with how the adult classes are paid for as well as anything about the night's class. She shows me the room. It's fine. But the mirrors are quite small and not really sufficient for really technique watching. The floor was a marlay floor, but had duck tape holding it down in several areas, yet coming up, so I was already concerned about center work when I realized it was time for class to start. But no one was there. I went back to the receptionist to ask for assistance. At that moment, the receptionist pulled the owner out of a class who was not pleased to be pulled out (and I don't blame her- ) and I learned class was cancelled. No one seemed particularly bothered by the fact that I not only showed up but waited for 20 minutes and was only told it was cancelled when I sought out an answer. Ironically.. had I been told upon arrival I would have had time to make it to another studio that I've been meaning to try that had a class at the same time.nnSo - again... The instruction might be lovely- I simply never got a chance to find out. I did meet the teacher who seemed nice enough but again... not overly apologetic about the mixup. I'm guessing it's a great place if you want to experiment but ballet as adult classes appear to be an after thought. So personally, after about 3 decades of ballet training from high level instructors... I'll likely try another studio equally committed to their adult instruction as their youth instruction. Just a personal preference that other long term dancers may share.
