Reviews
This program is absolutely terrible. There is no structure, the students are constantly confused about the curriculum. The online “lessons” (if you can even call them that) do not teach or explain the information sufficiently enough for the student to be prepared for the exams. The counselors are rarely available to answer questions and only reply to emails once or twice a week. The students in this program got the short end of the stick. It is incomparable to the traditional class room program. It is really quite sad.
i love going to this zoo, 10/10 experience. would recommend. my favorite attraction is the monkeys
I am a student at iGranada, and I know that most of the kids who go here will agree with me when I say it's terrible. They grade you based off of how fast you work, not the quality of your work. Don't send your kid(s) here thinking it's a good idea. If you need a school with a flexibly schedule, don't go here. They will tell you that this school is perfect for kids with flexible schedules, but it's actually the opposite. I was doing great, and one day I had an 104 degree fever. I had to stay home but got zeroed out in three of my classes because of that. This school is literally a living hell. If they gave me the option to give it zero stars I would. In fact I would give it -5 stars.
The learning system could either be great for you or create a really irritating experience for you. I'm a student here and the learning system was alright at first but it got worse for me. If you ever attend here I suggest that you work as fast as possible in the beginning, just so you can get a head start in the future and create more free time for yourself. You have to work fast because YOUR GRADE IS MAINLY BASED ON HOW FAST YOU CAN WORK! Not the QUALITY OF YOUR WORK! THE SYSTEM IS FAULTY! But at least all the teachers and students there are nice. Catching up in classes can be difficult, especially since they only give you benchmarks of the preferred progress(gradable). If you don't reach those benchmark percentages(in the core classes which are English, Science, Math & or History) then you receive 0s on all the assignments that would've brought you up to that preferred percentage ans your grade receives some damage. If it's 1-5 incomplete assignments, your grade can go down about 3-7%, if it is 5-10 incomplete assignments then your grade can go down between 8-10% if more, then 10-15% and so on. This explains why I'm currently failing English. I'm great at English but since I work slow, to maintain quality in the class, I get 0s. The system can screw you over, it doesn't care how great your work is. Not only that, since this system mainly cares about speed, if you don't catch up to the day by day preferred percentages then a simple equation can show you the impact that your speed has on your grade. The equation is your percentage gradable × your actual grade ÷ what percentage you should have. Example: let's say you have a 100% grade in Spanish, but your progress is a 50% completion when the preferred progress should be around 70% completion. 100 × 50= 5000, 5000/70 = 71.4. Your beautiful 100% becomes a C! Some people get 4 classes, some get 6. The more classes you get = more work and less free time. Be careful, future students/ readers, you have been warned
One of the worst schools ever not even a school its a insane asylum
