Sepulveda Middle School

I have been a Physical Education teacher at Sepulveda Middle School for twenty-four years. I have seen a lot of changes over the years and I feel very confident in saying that things are better now than they have ever been! We have a new administration which has been very supportive of the faculty and staff. The teachers are outstanding and really are concerned about the students well being both with there academic improvement and their character development. We have a very safe environment here on campus and work closely with the parents to keep it that way. We have a top notch Magnet program on our campus which offers a challenging and nurturing curriculum to all. There are some exciting new programs here as well. We have an outstanding robotics team, drama and music departments that excel and provide production and performance experiences for the students involved. The Physical Education department recently received a grant from the UCLA Sound Body Sound Mind Foundation. We obtained a state of the art cycling spin room complete with thirty-five new top of the line spin bikes. We truly feel that a healthy body goes hand in hand with a healthy mind. I highly recommend Sepulveda Middle School to anyone looking for a positive three year experience. When a student leaves Sepulveda , that student is well prepared to make a successful transition to high school.

Why is everyone mentioning lighting trash bins on fire, smoking marijuana, and sugar-coating of the magnet gifted program? I attended this school myself and it is up to an individual student to find who they associate themselves with. Yes, there are troublemakers (as there would be in any other school) but generally this intermediate school was great. They have many great teachers and opportunities if you look for them, and the magnet program is really great. Students have to learn to take the right actions and avoid those who want to make the school look bad, thats all.

Sepulveda Middle School is an awesome school. The magnet program is magnificent and has wonderful teachers. The teachers care about you and your education. I'm really going to miss the teachers, atmosphere, friends, and the school in general.

Students need to stop ditching. I do see a few hop over the fence lol. Over all it's a good school. My daughter is there and is looking forward to her last year there next school year

School never is a bad place,students make them look bad. Parents teach your children not to bully and respect one another. Stay safe everyone. Sepulveda middle school is the best school
