This school is a great one. I don't know what bad things people think about this school, because the teachers are respectful and fair, the campus is fairy clean and is constantly being taken care of, and a lot of students love the school to the point of even being passionate about learning. I trust the neighborhood and the school officials know what they're doing, so I can feel safe in the school. I highly suggest enrolling your child into this school, as all of their programs are great, ranging from a highly accelerated 6th grade math class to multiple fun, educational, and socially encouraging During-School Clubs and the very fun after-school programs provided for every child. The school is not too diverse, but doesn't have any signs of racism on the walls and the school officials don't support any kind of discriminative behavior, so I would say a lot of the people at the school are very good influences. All in all, I highly suggest at least checking out this school for your child or children to see if it's the right one.

Im an eigth grader about to graduate it is a great school, the dean is strict, so if you have any problems he will help you! Very good, Mr.worland,mrs.kim, mr.zumba, mr.apricio, ,ms. Hauptman, mrs.sasson, are all great teachers!!!! If you have any struggles it is easy to bring your grade back up, very relexed not stressed at all. At lunch my favorite thing to do was play soccer with my friends, and the corn nuggets at the student store are great!!! So is the ice cream. Principle is very nice, the library is cozy and makes you feel at home, you can use computers at library to finish last minute assignment or reasearch and the computer elective is my favorite class!

Porter is one of the worst schools i've been to. They let me culminate with 3 F's but no U's. They obviously don't care about real education, just about behavior. Ugh.
