The school has a good premise, but the way it gets executed is painful. My class was pushed so hard, unable to get away from 3 AP classes thrown into our schedules, as well as the other requirements put on top of us,that the pressure was enough to almost break the students psychologically. By the end of the year we were all so tired and uncaring that some were close to having or had depression. Like I said, good premise, poor implementation. A substitute teacher once told us that the school sets us up to go into college, but fails in keeping us in it. If you want your child to enjoy high school, do not enroll here. The school spirit here lives in the ninth graders, but past that you'll find depressed drones.
This school has gone down. I go to lakeview middle school. I haven’t gone to the high school lakeview but I don’t need to got to that school to know that it not good. You can tell because of the lakeview middle school.
