Fred Meyer Jewelers

If I could give no stars, I would. My husband and I were in there about a month and a half ago to pick out a new band for my wedding ring, and spent about 30-45 minutes with Tiffanie looking over all the options for the stone that I showed her. Every band I looked at, she would price it out and tell me how much it was going to be, and mentioned that this included any resizing that would have to be done. We settled on a nice one that would be perfect for my ring, and paid for it, told it would be ready by the end of the next week. Well, the next day, we were called and told that they were going to charge us more than double the price of what we paid, because apparently the bands they had were for round diamonds, and mine was a rectangular one, so the prongs would have to be changed. I was told that Tiffanie was new, and so she didn't know better. I spoke with the manager, and she told me that they didn't even sell the size of my diamond, which is weird, considering the papers from it clearly showed that it was originally from Fred Meyer Jewelers. She told me that they would find out how much it was going to cost and that they would eat some of the cost, since it was such a big misunderstanding. When they called us the next day, they told us that the charge was $420, (we paid $326 for the band), and that they would only knock it down to another charge of $350, more than double the original price that we paid. They wouldn't even take off a full $100. I cant believe the bait and switch, and now we have a very poor taste in our mouths for Fred Meyer Jeweler. We were even planning to come back next week for a blue diamond tungsten ring for him, but now we plan on getting our original purchase refunded and looking elsewhere for his as well. We got screwed big time, don't let it happen to you!nnUpdate: Went to Ben Bridge and got us BOTH a ring for him and a setting for mine for under 800!

this is by far the absolute worst experience I've ever had with a store. I honestly can't believe its still in bussiness. I brought my wedding set to be sized and set together which cost me almost 200$. I picked it up to find it didn't fit still. So I'm then told I'm going to be charged 180$ to foc their mistake. I am in awe at this point I say fine get a call 2 days later thay its ready I wait another 10days to come pick up and when i do so I'm told its not ready. Speechless. I am still stuck paying 100$ without a single apology or gaws forbid a manager come speak to me. We are talking not one not two but three mistakes in my wedding ring and at the end rhis store nafe alnost 400$ off me. Never ever will I nor will my family be back

People who work there are not pushy. Great attitudes and it dosent seem to matter what you need. Be it an expensive piece of jewelry to having a watch battery changed. Great variety of beautiful items in stock for any budget.

Went there with less than a week before my wedding to get my fiance's ring sized and what do you know I was able to turn it in pay and pick it back up about 2 Days Later with three days to spare before the wedding!

Go see Tracie! She was welcoming, she made sure to only show me things in my price range and to ask lots of questions to narrow it down to the perfect ring I have been dreaming of!! They had it resized and ready to go within a day. I recommend her and this particular Fred Meyer Jewelers as a whole!
