MANAGER would not honor online price but system was down and would not let me purchase online. Poor customer service, dont shop at this independent own store. So this store started carrying Hallmark products. When you go online on hallmark and pull up a item it tells the stores in your area who sell hallmark.. Ace hardware pulled up, the price was 20% off and it directed you to Ace hardware for pickup. I could not purchase online at all for pickup that day. Even Spencer the guy in charge of hallmark at Ace verified that he too was having problems with online orders. He would not approve the 20% off, he said he contacted his boss at Ace and she denied it as well. Hallmark is letting people know online that Ace sells their products yet Ace won't honor any hallmark sells? When I got at the store Ace hardware, Kelly a nice gentleman honored this sell. Thanks again for good customer service. Theirs 2 people at Ace that need to work on their training with Kelly,, he could teach them a few things.Spencer may be a nice kid but working with customers is not his calling.. hes not personable at all.
This is a great neighborhood hardware store! You get MUCH better service than the Big Box stores. They have pretty good selection...and the staff actually know where stuff is! The prices are competitive, especially if you join Ace Rewards (which gives you monthly discounts for items you actually buy). Plus, it's much easier to access from the street and parking is convenient. I usually try this store first, before going to HD. Finally, pick up their free calendar...it has a $5 off coupon every month!

Very helpful staff. Just remember this is a small store so they don't have everything. However, I'm a contractor so I often go here for certain things because I can get in and out fast. Time is money in my business.
