My FIL got gas for $1.99g and went home to get his RV to fill up for the same price. It was just after noon and apparently the price went up to $2.69 at 12 pm... only they FAILED to change the price on the pump, it still said $1.99g. He prepaid at the $1.99 rate but when he went in to complete his transaction, the owner/manager charged him $2.69g, instead of honoring the price on the pump, just announcing the price went up at noon! Shady AF and the store owner took advantage of my elderly FIL, instead of admitting they forgot to change the price on the pump. When I called to express my concern for how they took advantage of my FIL, I was informed he should have seen the price updated on the overhead board. However, this occurred right after noon, my FIL has just been there with his car and didn’t see the board when he returned, he was only looking at the pump price. Don’t get gas here, this establishment is predatory in their business practices.
