Fircrest Fire Department

I fell and broke my arm. Within minutes 3 firemen were at my house. I am a senior citizen and was very scared as well as in terrible pain.nnThey were so calm and reassuring I immediately relaxed. They completely checked my vital signs and put a sling on my arm. The amount of equipment they had available to do a thorough check was impressive.nnThey had to lift me from laying on the floor to a chair and finally to the car. This was very painful but they were so careful and competent. I took the option of having my daughter drive me rather than take an ambulance.nnMy 3 year old grandson was present and they took great care to make sure he wasn’t upset. They gave him a sticker which made his night.nnI am new to Fircrest. I will stay here forever just to be near this fire department. They are wonderful and I thank them from the bottom of my heart.
