So hubby and I went in and LOVED the merchandise in the store and went up to pay for our stuff and the lady told us about the magazine offer with rewards. we signed up and picked the 3 magazines and went on our way. few weeks later I get a card in the mails saying that not only were the magazines gonna talk 2-3 months to mail, but if I didn’t cancel over the phone or website they would charge me semi annually for each of the magazine subscriptions(which added up to about $150). what super bugged me is they even had my last 4 digits of my debit card on there. meaning FYE gave mags.com my debit card information without telling us at ALL. the employee did not mention this was a reoccurring subscription otherwise I would have said no. I’m SUPER mad about this especially cause we loved that store.
Grrrr be careful checking out. They’ll ask if you wanna sign up for some weird BS and I signed up thinking it was just a rewards membership or something. It’s not and they will charge you monthly and a friend of mine had to call three times to finally get the membership canceled. The employees are probably forced by their managers to put customers in these awkward situations!
We found what we were looking for. They had a great selection. Good customer service, also.
