La Luz Elementary School

I wish I could say our family's interaction with this school was good, but it was not. The front desk staff was exceptionally rude and disrespectful from our very first interaction. We had an issue with my son's Kindergarten teacher and tried to transfer him to another classroom, but getting in contact with the part time principal was almost impossible. So we finally had to transfer him to a new school.

It looks appealing, but it's nothing but a smoke screen to hide the corruption, greed, and child abuse in this institution. My son was beaten by two boys, he reported it, their was a witness who reported it, they were both ignored. I had to involve the news just to have someone speak to me, the principal cares more about her gluttony than accountability. The staff is very unwelcoming and Ill-mannered. Since my 5 year olds attack several people have informed me the abuse their children went through in this "school" that was swept under the rug, followed by administration retaliation against the children: One child was urinated on, another had his arm broken, another spat on and kicked in the genitals, racial slurs at such a young age, extreme violence and hate. Now, while these things need to be corrected in the home, if it happens on school property they need to address it. The cop who is part of APD and claimed he has 20 years of experience told my husband and I "I don't know what to tell you these people are great at documenting things." Do not send your child or children here you will regret it.
