I go to Lincoln and it's amazing...good people.
Lincoln high school is what you make it. Sure, there are skippers and people who smoke weed. They're only a fraction of the whole student body and we aren't the only school that has people like this.nnBack to the point, high school is what you make it. All you need to have a good time, a successful time at Lincoln is to know what you want and do what you need to do to get there. It really depends on what kind of person you are.nnThere are tons of people at Lincoln who don't skip and who don't smoke. I go to Lincoln, I am in Lincoln Center, I have a 3.7 GPA, I am in sports, I am involved in volunteer service organizations around my community, don't skip, and definitely don't smoke. There are many others like me too so don't think I am that one out of 100.nnI really don't notice the skippers or the smokers while at Lincoln. Call me oblivious or clueless, I don't care. I am just saying skipping school and smoking weed isn't all there is to Lincoln and it really doesn't have that big on an influence here.nWell that is if you compare it to other high schools because if you compare it to how you think high school should be in regards to drugs or skipping class then you'll be let down because high school isn't what you think or remember it as or should be, but that's just how the world is right now.nnThe thing I love about Lincoln is that it's full of people who care and want to help, and they will if you give them the chance. If you let them.nnAgain, your experience with anything depends upon you. It is what you make it.
Honestly its a good school but if your not on top of your work it will be hard because teachers don't play that.
I went to Lincoln High back in 2000-2003, and I was 1 of the troubled kids I see on here that alot of ppl are blaming the school and the teachers for kids skipping school and smoking weed. Its not the schools or the teachers JOB to babysit 200 plus kids that are not doing what they are suppose to do were high school teenagers if you choose to skip class or go smoke weed across the street @ smokers corner thats your choice the teachers cant stop the whole class just for a few bad seeds that want to skip class and or go smoke weed in the bathroom @ smoker corner or @ the football bowl yea Ive been there done that and got the t shirt......
It's been a while I missed going there good people better friends 2000 was awesome
