Parking DivisionnTrying to find out how a street sweeper ticket was given to me, I was able to move my car right before Sweeper cleaned the side of the street were my car was parked, parking enforcement was already there, I thought, I am sure they will send me a ticket, ok.nHere’s the nightmare started, I got a letter saying that I owe a ticket plus a late feenAfter calling why I never received the ticket and first letter, the woman on the department went on a rant, and I asked to speak to her supervisor, another woman, who she kept sayingnLet me explain the law like a 100 times,nI asked, I moved the car, if you think I should be Fined, then send me the ticket, don’t take vendettas and increase the ticket with a late fee, wellnShe kept saying I will explain the law, except that I wasn’t asking about the law, I was asking for the ticket and first letter trying to collect the fine, she couldn’t explain their failure to Mail me the proof of the ticket and first letter of intent to collect a ticket.nShe was RUDE, ignorant and a big head, thinking that bullying their residents is Okay, is not, am I talking about the SUPERVISOR, imagine people under her supervision??nParking Division are well known for being bullies. But honestly, those women took it too far.

Lakewood City HallnI need to have a Memorial for my son who passed away May 31, 2020. But I was told they aren't allowing and facilities rentals at all.nDamn covid19 , we can't even have a proper remembrance for our loved ones because of this pandemic!nI need to get this done! Have some closure. Anyone have a place where I can host a small family & friends celebration of life?

I had a slumlord in Lakewood, I called the department of fair housing in Lakewood city hall. A Ms. Hillery and her boss Charles Carter could not care less about the harassment and abuse from my landlord, they defended her. “She sees you as a friend” they also told me that rodents living in my attic was to my advantage “opossums are our friends” I kid you not! Deplorable, despicable, disgusting. Still I complained. Hired a lawyer, hired an advocate. No one cared. Not Thaddeus McCormick, not city prosecutor Jamar Boyd-Weatherby and of course still not Charles Carter. I’m beyond livid that my tax dollars paid the wages of these people who DO NOT CARE about the residents of Lakewood.

Don't try opening a business in this city. We greatly regret trying to invest here. My husband and I had to spend almost everything we got just to please the city inspectors and then we get all these homeless people who loiter around and scare people away and noone does anything about it The city makes it so stressful it's not even worth it. Too bad the people of Lakewood lose out on so much business opportunities , I wonder how they are with home owners. i wouldn't even try to purchase a home here
