Today 8/15/2020 was my first experience attempting to value/sell my coins and misc silver pieces. Bellevue Rare Coins-Tacoma was highly recommended by my friends. I walked in and was immediately Welcomed by the staff and was helped by Carina Carlos. Carina was incredibly helpful and instantly put any anxiety about my lack of knowledge on coins and precious metals at ease. She answered all my questions and explained with great detail about the values of my pieces and why some were worth more than others and how to identify them. Carina made the process a breeze and i look forward to working with her in the future!

They valued my IWC portuguese rose gold watch for $70.nThis watch new is around $17,500nShe couldn’t find any information on eBay so she wasn’t interested in any of my watches.nWhy have a store if you use eBay for reference.nDon’t waste your time going there.

The 1st time I came in Stacy and Lucas helped me out with the$6500 transaction On selling gold and silver And I thought to myself Hey this is a pretty good place. Then I came in today with placer gold from the river and the lady that was helping me tested it out to 18 karat gold which is normal. I brought in almost 12 g and she tried to offer me $271 which is what 10 carat gold is going for on a scrap calculator. Maybe if I didn't go in there and my work clothes she probably wouldn't treated me like a crackhead. I am honestly glad I did not bring all of my placer gold.

Carina was great! This was our first time at Bellevue Rare Coins and she made the process easy. Answered all our questions and did a nice job explaining the process. We'll be back.

The folks down there at Bellevue Rare Coins in Tacoma are the best. I went in a few months back for the pandemic was just starting convinced that our dollar was going to crash and I needed to buy metal so that I could use it to buy bread and milk later on. As that's not been the case I took it back and I'm going to use the money for something else. What really impressed me the most is when I went back in there last week after it had been several months I walked in the door and they knew my name. That's amazing.
