Best prices and a very honest owner and staff if you desire explanations to the value he'll take the time to show you simular items that sold on ebay. The staff will also check for key dates. The best place to sell your gold and silver items no longer wanted or needed. Best prices for buying bullion and rare coins. A great place to bring children in to start a fun hobby.

I've been here once a couple years ago looking for coins for Christmas gifts, and it was a great experience! However, I've tried to get into the shop many, many times since, during their new posted hours, and they have always been closed for some reason or another, often no reason is posted at all. I would like to find a shop like this to be a regular at... but can't if they are never going to be open.nnIts funny reading similar reviews here, and watch them be refuted. But I'm sitting here in front of his door as I type this at 12:45 on a Wednesday. Still closed....

Had an opportunity to go to American Rare Coins yesterday, met Ray, very knowledgeable, great shop.nBought a few coins, will definitely be going back in the next few days.nThis is a Veteran owned business, support our Brothers.......nTim

I am at the Frighthouse 4-5 times a week because I take the sounder and have been for the last 8 months. I have walked by this place countless times and it is NEVER OPEN!!! And truthfully they are the place that I like to window shop at most. BUT THAT IS JUST IT! Window shopping.... Yesterday i was surprised to see that the gate to the store was actually opened! I was super excited to finally shop. BUT! NO! I was immediately turned around and was told to come back in 5 minutes and that he only takes appointments( and wasn't very nice about it either)... I don't know why the guy even has a store... Maybe just have an online store?? Sense you seem to not like people shopping in your store that has everything encased... If you are losing revenue, you may want to rethink your business plan. To everyone reading this. Don't let his online hours fool you.
