L&I cares more about paperwork than the care of the injured.nnMy wife was hurt at work, more than once, now she is in pain all the time, and her quality of life is way down too.nnAll we want to do is get back to normal life, but doing that through this any L&I process is probably never going to happen.nnI wish that there was a way for us to show how she was prior to the injury and then a way to show her quality of life now...nnShe used to be able to help more with home repairs and improvements after our recent move, now she can't. She used to be able to get up ladders, now she can't. She used to be able to go to the YMCA and do exercise classes, now she can't.nnUntil she gets the help she needs, which will probably come from private insurance and out of our own pockets, she will be this way.nnWe are so frustrated about this whole process with L&I. They are supposed to be there to help and protect you. Instead they are there to slow everything down and find a way not to help you.nn10/12/2018nMy wife's claim was finally closed with L&I. We decided to use that opportunity to get private care and treatment for one part of her injuries that was causing her the most trouble, her hip. We got the treatment and then L&I paid for it only after her claim was re-opened. Since her claim was reopened we are going through the same thing again for her shoulder, they are working yet again to close her claim without treating her injury. The only goal of L&I is to close claims without treatment. We have appointments to get an injection in her shoulder, the doctor thought that surgery was needed but we opted for a lesser approach and still her back too. L&I does not work, it is an insult to have to be treated so poorly after being hurt on the job.nnWe can afford to pay for the treatment with our own private insurance, and honestly if you want to get better its the only way we can see for it to happen. Working with L&I just does not work, they are not just useless, they are an impediment to getting the treatment needed. I honestly think they should be sued for negligence and causing ongoing and unnecessary pain and suffering.nnWE HATE L&I. And hope NEVER to have to deal with them again.

I wish that zero stars was an option. They do nothing to help. I’d rather have teeth pulled then to ever have to deal with LNI. Just another department that takes money out of checks and then is on vacation when you need to get a hold of somebody.

I called to inquire about the mandatory workplace posters. Name and address and they were sent out to me with very minimal effort. It was harder to find the correct phone number Thru the websites. Thank you google for making that easy.
