I never knew this little memorial park existed until I filmed a funeral there this week. It's small but certainly filled with very interesting names and features. We had a small service with just about 30 people and a mariachi band. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We traveled to a different cemetery for the actual burial but this was a lovely outdoor spot for the funeral service. Parking is just what you see here.
The grounds are beautiful, peaceful and so well maintained.nThe entire staff is thoughtful and compassionate on every level, to remembering our names, having cold water and treats available, umbrellas during the rainy season and even cut flowers to place for some recognized holidays.nFrom the moment I walked in, Leticia Garcia was helpful beyond what I ever imagined. She assisted me with each and every decision, she never once made me feel rushed or uncomfortable, she took so much time talking to me, and even more time listening, to all my concerns.nLetty is empathic, understanding and so very kind, and has made me and my family feel welcomed, and remembered, each time we are there.nShe has gone above and beyond to make sure everything for our family is exactly how we want it to be, and for that, I cannot thank her enough.nIt seems odd to say they feel like family there, but essentially they do, and for me that was entirely due to Letty.
This I think is the best mortuary ever. It is calming, relaxing and more like phenomenal. I saw Marilyn Monroe's grave a lot on pictures. But I actually saw her grave. Marilyn is my favorite person. I know Hugh Hefner. I saw him next to Marilyn. I love this place I recommend this place.
Amazing, professional service. Funeral director Shannan made this experience as smooth as possible. She was in constant communication, her friendliness, professionalism and the work (makeup) she did on my love one was beautiful. I can not say enough good things about Pierce Bro. The chapel is beautiful as well. My family is well pleased.
Earlier this year we buried my mother at this memorial as she wanted to be closed to Home. Given that we liked the specific grave location so much, we paid a premium to get two double stacked spots right next to each other, one for my mom and the other for my dad in the future. We're going to keep two spots empty as we don't want to put them on top of each other.nnThe grounds are small and beautiful. Karen Carpenter, my mom's favorite singer was buried here, and so we made sure my mom was buried very close to her.nnAfter my mom was buried, we noticed the grass on top of my mom's grave was dead for two months (See the image). How this was missed for two months after daily maintenance is beyond me... I finally had to point this out to management for them to fix. This was very upsetting. We've been monitoring the grave site ourselves regularly to make sure this doesn't happen again.nnMoreover, I submitted the final designs on the headstone on Jun 5th and didn't hear anything back for more than four months! I even saw other new grave sites with headstones before us and our headstones are much more standard than theirs. I had to again follow up on it which they replied back, but then I contacted again and no reply. Honestly, we just don't feel like they care about us. This isn't like buying a car. We lost a loved family member during an already depressing year. We'd expect at least a bit more attention and sensitivity to us.nnI'm not sure why we're getting singled out for poor service, but it's clear Pierce Brothers doesn't track things very well in our experience and although the employees there are nice, they're neither proactive nor organized.
