This is an interesting experience and has a very different layout than the Monterey Aquarium which is it's sister. The docents work in the elevators and tell you what you'll be seeing as they ferry you from floor to floor. The new otter habitat was well laid out and although we were there later in the day when they were sleeping, you could see that they had all sorts or water and land to play on. The big thrill was walking through the shark tunnel as they swim all around you. Totally worth coming down for!

THIS REVIEW IS FOR MY WEDDING IN THE FARRALON ROOM ON APRIL 2012. I would highly recommend this venue for a small event. All staff made the event run smoothly and the venue is beautiful. we used the patio to have our cocktail event. The had few rules like other events, we did not have to purchase insurance and the all the staff working that night were wonderful to our guests.

It's a small aquarium but still large enough to engage the interests of both my 3 and 8 year old. They have some very nice exhibits like the tunnel you can walk through. I think the prices were pretty fair for such a touristy area. Particularly with the local discount.

I love aquariums. And I love this one. I read reviews that everyone thought that this place was small but to be honest, it was much bigger than I had anticipated. I came here 10 years ago and while I don't remember much about my trip overall, I do remember the awesome tunnel on the moving walkway with sharks overhead.

It's a little aquarium so you can get through it quickly with little kids. I found it to be really fun and interesting expecially if you have little kids with not much patience. The priced aren't too bad and there are lots of discounted tickets available everywhere (GO Pass, etc.). Much better than any of the tourist traps of the rest of fisherman's wharf.
