This Museum contains a wide array of American art, from fabulous marble sculptures to metal cooking utensils, to a reconstructed room from a prairie style home, and three of the most famous George Washington portraits in the world. My only complaint is that the light was very low in a number of the galleries which made it hard for my father to see the art, due to his macular degeneration. People with vision issues might not do well in some of these galleries.

Excellent collection of folk art and how art was incorporated in the everyday items used in the development of the American nation.
