the staff and security of the this is school shake everyones hands at the gate every morning and know everyone personally and by name. teachers would go out of their way to do anything they can for their students to succeed. greatest math department in district. cleanest campus on district staff members go out of their way and pick up trash. really friendly and good excellent school.
I could NOT believe how ignorant and rude and the majority of the staff was. They really need to improve their people skills and social skills. Doesn't look a positive work environment as no one smiled or seemed upbeat at all. It was WAAAAAAAY worth it to spend the money to send my child to a private school instead of this place.
Best baseball team ever, 1967. Best coach Coach Pollick.
Its a realy good school, thier acidemical department seems great and when you arive everyone greats you at the door. Everyone seems happy to be there. Overall the school seem better than Cal High. Im glad i sent my child to Pioneer instead of Cal.
2007 alumni, this school is a joke, during my time in school I use to live in South Whittier and I thought it was crap that I had to take a bus trip 4miles to get to school for 4 miserable years when I had Cal High just up the street. My classmates were undereducated, I felt like I was attending school with parentless kids. The teachers were ok, some just amazed me how they were still teachers. Security made you feel like you are part of a correctional facility.
