Trashy. There are some good people there, but a lot of the ones on the 1st Street row are ignorant, trashy and inconsiderate. I've seen some illegal things going on and people just living knee deep in garbage. Ruins what could have been a nice area.
Mmmmm where do I begin...there are so many bad things I can say about this place and very few good things to say so I will simply say if you are looking for anything to do with illegal activities then this is the perfect place to visit. It's a wonderland of debauchery. The restaurant Taco's Guadalajara nextdoor is f-ing great and I do believe everyone should eat there at least once. I'd go with the super fries.
Good friends I can trust safe place to lay your head when your tired safe for kids and old men too good stores and places to eat close by good. Area to look for A HOME.
Don't rent a space there. It is not friendly nor safe for kids. Lived their and my neighbor's were addicts and majority of the people there. Along with others.
