Pierce College Puyallup

After going to community college and transferring. I didn’t realize how much I’d miss this place. The campus is relatively new. Staff are friendly and helpful. Its a great place to get a degree.

It's sad that there aren't kids walking around everywhere but it's still a great place to walk. Very peaceful.

Some of the professors try to fail you instead of help succeed. While they advocate diversity, some professors judge you for how you look like. One english professor W. kept calling me an international student just because of my physical traits even after I corrected her many times. Another oceanography professor let a male student tell a sexist joke something like the moon controls women's emotions in the rudest way and let other males students laugh at it. Don't recommend this school for anyone. I wish the educators get better training.

I can't let this summer quarter make me forget about all the good quarters I had with this school. I have never had an issue with financial aid or anything else prior to this summer quarter. Yea they may have made the wrong decision to switch systems right before a quarter but I won't hold it against them. All and all this is a great college to go to.

The staff here are amazing. Lots of good instructors as well!
