OMG I don’t know why haven’t I’ve tried this before... Absolutely amazing experience! Josh is a wonderful instructor, he speaks very clearly what to do and don’t do, and has a good sense of humor. Neither me nor my husband were confused for a second. Although we don’t know much about hang gliding yet, but the equipment they use seems of good quality and feels absolutely safe. Best two hours spent on the beachud83dude04 Thank you for this magnificent time!!!

I took my first flight with Andy on 6/8/19. The experience was amazing!! Very professional. Andy explained everything from how to set the hang glider up to how to fly. Andy was very thorough in safety, making sure the glider was set up properly and showing me how to make that determination. He also ran through ground scenarios before we got in the air so I knew what to expect. He made sure I was securely fastened in and comfortable prior to take off. It was a weightless feeling as me feet left the ground and we were in flight. I am usually scared of heights, but this did not bother me in the hang glider. It was very a very peaceful feeling with terrific views!! I even flew the glider for about 10 minutes!! I would highly recommend Windsports if you are thinking of going hang gliding. I did my flight in the mountains and loved it!!

Had a few flights with Josh, who was incredibly helpful and cheerful! He kindly made some recommendations to check out places closer to where I live on the east coast! Overall a great experience, lots of fun, would highly recommend trying it out for travelers or locals.

If you want to learn how to hang glide, come here. Staff is amazing and patient. The view is amazing.

Fantastic! The instructor, Joshua (who is also one of the co-owners) was friendly and helpful from start to finish. Showed me how to set up the glider, explained everything in detail, let me do a lot of it (checking afterwards for safety, of course), and gave me a thorough education. He's clearly an expert on wind and dynamics and it added a TON to the experience. I got to glide down 7 or 8 times, he was holding onto me so I didn't totally drift away but otherwise it was not at all tandem, it was just me. Exhilarating experience, I've never really felt anything like it. He taught me the basics pretty quickly and it was easy with Windsports expertise to progress my skills rapidly. This was amazing the entire way though, and I was all smiles. Well worth the cost. I highly recommend Windsports Hang Gliding in Los Angeles!
