my husband was discriminated against for being a veteran. they called today to inform him that even though he filled out all of the financial aid information and his first year is funded that they require him to go get a letter from his doctor that he is mentally and physically fit to attend. they didn't mention his aptitude when they were asking for his personal information and asking for funds in his name. seems if someone is not fit to attend you shouldn't have collected his personal information. the ADA will be hearing about this.

Very disappointed to be told there is a waiting list for veterans to attend a program. I was told the school only allows up to 20 percent of the student population to be veterans.

I stand corrected. I received a call today and they stated they will only accept 15% of the students who are veterans at a time for a program. I asked when is the next start date. They replied they don't know, it could be months since there is a waiting list.
