If visiting Bakersfield stay clear of The Get Bus unless you want to put up with Rude bus drivers. Take Ubber, Lift, or just walk it. I prefer to walk than take the Get Bus. It’s common sense since they work with the public they would be trained in some kind of customer service. Now I understand why only 1% rides that bus system. The MTA ( Los Angeles bus system) are thriving because of their excellent customer service skills. Same with the City Of Orange, and New York.

Every time I come here I am very polite. I am polite because that's how I want people to treat me. Every time I come here the employees are so rude. I come from orange county and I'm use to the OCTA (orange county transport authority). So I am use to excellent customer service. I bought a ticket through a third party company here (flix) and they messed up my times. I came back and spoke with pedro and he didn't acknowledge me when I approached him. He let me know there was nothing that can be done and sent me on my way. I asked to speak to a supervisor and he verbally told me. I asked him if he could write it down and he coped an attitude. When I asked him to add his name so I had a reference he refused. I wasnt trying to get him in trouble or anything but he basically didn't care. Going to have to find alternative services in the area.

This is the worst bus company I have ever seen. The lady behind the counter kept telling me that I needed a reduced fair card when the token transit app said I could use my Medicare card and an ID I rode the bus for 1 and 1/2 years feeling like I was going to get kicked off the bus because I didn't have my reduced fare card. They insisted that i needed a doctor's note to get a reduced fare card even though Medicare is proof of disability and reduced fare. Finally, I called the main office only to find out I could get a reduced fare card whith my Medicare. I feel like the bus drivers know that I'm headed for the bus and they pull away anyway! They even blow right past me while I'm standing at the stop sometimes!
