My friend and I book rides on 10/25 in honor of my 69th birthday. We were both impressed with West Coast Rides. Most important to me, the horses were well fed and well cared for. Shiny winter coats and nice round butts. We are experienced but elderly riders (my friend, Ellen, used to lead trail rides.), but the guides took good care of all the newbies including a six-year-old. Gave easy to understand instructions in riding western and gave a quick lesson in why, if one horse starts galloping, they all will. And no yelling. I had had heart surgery 3 weeks before and decided after mounting not to ride. They had me off the quickly and painlessly. Well done, West Coast Rides! I'll be back!

Phenomenal group! The trainers were enormously knowledgeable and very clear with instructions. The horses are clearly loved and well taken care of. We took our kids on an hour ride and everyone was safe. We loved this group! Definitely recommended for both beginners and anyone with experience. Two thumbs up from me.

Drove four hours to get here and signed up to come back next week on my way out! This whole experience was just awesome for someone who loves horses but doesn’t have the privilege of owning one. The wranglers are knowledgeable and you can tell they really care about every person that comes through their gate. Rest assured that your little humans will be safe with helmets and a staff that makes sure everyone is bundled up and wearing the proper clothing before riding off. Horses are picked based on experience level but I don’t think there’s a bad one in the bunch. The groups are patrolled by 3-4 of the staff members who are constantly checking in and making sure everyone is doing great. The horses are well kept and well loved! Went out for a one hour and signed up for another 2 hour ride right after! 10/10 would recommend West Coast Horse rides.n(The first ones on the right in the little red shed!)

I had a bad experience riding horses at Ocean Shores years ago and never got on another horse since. My seven year old begged to ride a horse while we were at Long Beach. West Coast Horse Rides did such a great job. They made sure all of the kids wore helmets. We were given quick instruction on how to handle our horses. This for me is the toughest part as I have no experience with horses. We had about six horse guides with us. Our lead horse guides took photos of us on her own phone and airdropped them for us at the of our ride. She also did a great job with the smaller kids. My mare was very calm and obedient. The horses all fell into single file line on the horse trail with little to no guidance. We had a great experience with West Coast Horse Rides and will definitely ride with them again when we return to Long Beach!

First time riders, My wife and I had so much fun. Brandi was amazing and so professional. Her and my wife hit it off right off the bat. The horses are beautiful and calm, very fun for first timers ;) We will be back with our kids!
