Awesome fun winery! Great hosts and delicious wines. If you’re in Winthrop you owe yourself a trip to Lost River Winery. Don’t go home without a bottle- we especially love the Community Red.
The red wines are killer. Others in the tasting room seemed to love the whites also. A very pleasant space with friendly & knowledgeable staff! It's a nice bonus that there is no tasting fee. (They must rightfully figure you'll want to buy bottles....we sure did!) It was a nice stroll from town to here, and you can include a stop at the cidery next door too!
Like the wine but the woman who was pouring the wine during the wine tasting was pretty rude until a local gentleman came in to purchase wine for most likely a restaurant. Her attitude changed at that point. Maybe because he spent almost 300.00 dollars? We were ready to walk out prior to his entrance. I wish I would have gotten her name.... she needs to find something else to do.
Great wines! Knowledgeable staff and very patient and attentive. A great place to learn about a variety of wines. Wines for every budget, too!
The wines are a great value for the price. The tasting room manager is knowledgable and really makes you feel welcome. She also makes the tasting experience super approachable. Love this place!
