An interesting place. Spectrum is entirely supported and run by its members. The gallery displays only photographs; mostly landscapes, some wildlife and travel. The main space changes each month to feature work of one (sometimes more) photographer. A smaller space in the gallery has photos from members.

There is only one art gallery that does nothing but photography in the entire area from Sacramento to LA. They've been doing it at Spectrum for a very long time. And they do it with style and class. It's a co-op gallery supported by member dues and sales of prints. The prices are quite reasonable, especially by major metropolitan standards.nParking in the Tower District can be a challenge.nNext to the gallery is a world class Italian Deli, and next to that is a nice locally owned coffee shop with lots of space for lounging both indoor or out.nShows change every month, so check it out. First Thursday of the month is Fresno Art Hop night, and Spectrum is always hopping with a lot of viewers.
