This is a very nice gallery/studio. I have been so impressed with how they have managed to create space during the pandemic. I have done a couple of their virtual lessons and absolutely love it!!! Would totally recommend you stop by!

For some reason my grandsons name is showing as the poster.nnThis was such a fun class. We made the ugly mugs and I must say it was so much fun. I always wanted to go to a pottery class and was given it for my birthday from my son and daughter in law. Amy was a great teacher and the people their were friendly and helpful. If your looking for a great experience go and check them out.nnDonna

I had the best time as an uber-beginner student at Happy Life Pottery. The owners David and Amy, are so welcoming and inclusive, and will meet you wherever you are in your pottery journey. David is extremely knowledgeable with all things pottery, and is a great teacher. I also enjoyed that there were different levels of novices within the class, so I had the opportunity to learn from other students as well. In a world where I am often glued to a screen, be it a computer monitor or a smart phone, this weekly practice in tactility has been so beneficial for me. Thank you Happy Life, and I look forward to continuing my pottery journey very soon!

Initially I really liked this store. They have beautiful things. But last Sunday, my husband, daughter and I entered this store and browsed around, checking and admiring the nice things in the store. The person in the store totally ignored us and did not even acknowledge our presence. I was contemplating whether to buy 2 brass figures but I told myself I will think about it and just go back later. On the way out the person maybe owner or store clerk followed us out of the store. This really made me feel uncomfortable. Why did he do that?

Best place in Benicia for quick gifts and ceramic classes. Their collection of art, prints, glass and pottery is eye candy and worth the trip. Hand made jewelry and pottery tools are also sold. Meet some of the artists that come in and work their magic.
