Well Read Books & Tutoring

This book store is the best! The owners and staff are friendly, and oh so helpful. What you want they will do their best to find for you, if it's not on their shelves. Love this store! Pat Fischer

I was so surprised by this bookstore. It seems incredibly well run. It had a great selection, great prices and is very well organized which is a really big deal for me personally. Sure, there are times when it can be fun to take your time perusing through stacks and stacks hoping to find a gem, but for me I find it super nice to go to a bookstore and easily find a few titles I definitely want. Lots of used book stores I've been to feel overcrowded, unorganized to the point of not knowing if an author is even in the shop, and overall seem a bit like rubbish bins for books absolutely no one wants. That’s not the case at Well Read Books. I ended up leaving with 6 books: three I’ve specifically been wanting to read, one by an author I’ve read and liked, one by an author who has had a book adapted for TV (which I watched and liked well enough to assume that I’d like another of her books for a beach read), and the 6th book was by an author I’ve never read nor heard of but was interested in after reading the cover. There are also new books for sale as well as a used book bargain shelf that has great books for *super* cheap. It was $3 for the book I picked off it and I noticed a Pulitzer Prize winner for fiction on it, so [if you put any stock in that] it’s not just a shelf for fluffy beach reads and books they’re desperate to rid themselves of. It’s a bit of a drive, so I won’t be able to go regularly but anytime I’m in the area I’ll be stopping in.

Nice workers, good selection, can order for you if they don't have it. Don't know about their tutoring, but sometimes it has to be library quiet voices because of that :)nGood experience every time. Fun to browse.
