I took a piece of carpeting in to have the edge binding done. I expected that they would sew the edge binding on. Apparently I made an incorrect assumption, because what they did was HOT GLUED the edge binding on. I could’ve done that! So they will not be getting my business when I do a full flooring redo in my house.
Outstanding people to work with!
Greg and his crew were extremely helpful and highly skilled. They were patient while we took forever to decide, letting us take home many samples. They allowed us to do some of the prep work ourselves, before the engineered wood floor was installed, On the day of installation, they worked hard and carefully; they even stayed an hour or so late (with our permission, of course) to finish the job, so it only took one day. At the end of the day, they cleaned up all the mess and even mopped the new floor for us, and they helped us get the range and refrigerator back in place. We highly recommend Abbey Carpet of Livermore floor the beautiful product, excellent installation, and kind people.
I have worked with Abbey Carpet both in my business and personally, and can not say enough good things about them. The staff at Abbey Carpet Livermore collectively has easily 100+ years in the floorcovering business. They have been awesome recommending the right product for the right situation, at a fair price. They have a ton of products to choose from, have a warm and friendly staff, and take great pride in what they do!
I just had wood laminate flooring installed in my office at work and my God, night and day difference. Our office looks beautiful now, thank you so much Gary and the entire crew at Abbey carpets.
