CollegePrep offers exactly what we were seeking in a school. We are a scholarly interfaith family with a strong commitment to social justice and public service. We sought teachers who would stimulate our son's intellectual and moral growth, and smart motivated students representing a broad range of cultures and viewpoints. The faculty at CollegePrep -- many of whom have Ph.D.s -- are top scholars in their respective fields, and they are committed to teaching youths, both inside and outside the classroom. The school community is small, friendly, and diverse. CollegePrep does not try to be all things to all people; rather, it focuses on what it does best: educating the brightest young people in the Bay Area to be intellectual leaders and outstanding citizens.
This school only offers four years of high school education. Small-scale classes and high standards of academic requirements make it easier for students to enroll in even the best universities in the United States. Correspondingly, one-third of the high school graduates will enter the top universities in the United States such as the Ivy League, Stanford, MIT, and California Tech. The Wall Street Journal ranked the school as the top ten private middle school in the United States according to the university admission rate and the first year of the university entrance.
