I am very disappointed with the fact that Alameda has different rules than Merritt or Laney college. The counselors are wonderful here but I had hard time dealing with some of the staffs. They simply told me that College of Alameda is very strict. I am an international student and I was trying my best to explain my situations. Unfortunately, they couldn't help me out. Then I tried at Laney, I was so satisfied with their service and Merritt was good too. They gave me a better advice and stick with me, so thankful for them.

This is relating to the automotive course that takes in cars in need of repair in order to learn, for a limited time . They diagnosed and repaired my vehicle in a timely manner and with great customer service. They aren't taking vehicles for very much longer

Quiet, friendly, and an excellent place to take classes at. The art classes are amazing! The financial aid/records/counselors ate all in one room, whereby there helpful/informative. I love this place!

The ADAM (Apparel Design and Merchandising) program is amazing. The program is very challenging and is great to find students over there with already more than one college degree or even master degree and just because some students are passionated about the apparel industry. Great teachers!
