Sequoia Arena

The arena had just been graded. The stands are nice. Walkways are crumbling in spots. Watch your step.

Great location for our ham radio club's annual field day event. The arena itself, along with the stands and most of the associated buildings are in pretty rough shape, but it meets the needs for our event. The arena surface is usually green with grass in the spring, but quickly turns back to brown dust in the summer, until the rains return.

Nice open rest area in Joaquin Miller Park but does not offer much of a view. A good rest stop for water or to get back your breath if you just did the challenging uphill portions of the Cinderella or Chaparral trails.

I was only here for the trailhead.
