I've never actually been into the store but after spending some time speaking with Matthew on the phone it wouldnt be a bad idea. He was more than helpful and informative, patient and kind thanks so much for making me laugh while shattering my dreams of having the rarest coin in the world....lol
I've been a customer for the 30years, watched the younger family members grow up in the shop, even went to school with my grandson. They have always shown me respect as a customer and person.
Extremely friendly and welcoming. I have a pretty sizable coin collection I inherited from my late grandfather and came in to find out how much it was worth. They went through every piece, expained what it was and the significance or lack there of. They were incredibly knowledgeable and thorough, and gave me a market value price for all the coins in the collection. I chose not to sell, and felt no pressure to do so, as they were insistent that the appraisal was free of charge and that they would honor the appraisal at market value if i ever decided to change my mind. I am very grateful for the service they provided and left with a much better understanding of what I have and what to look out for from now on! Thank you very much Oakland Coin and Jewelry Exchange!

This place stole a diamond from me worth $5,000 or more. I don't have your email address. I visited the store a few months ago, an employee lied to me my diamond was fake and during examination process, he switched it with a fake.
