There are a lot of microaggressions form professors, especially those who presume the nature their students economic status. In short University professors in a community college. At the time ther were a lot of people who were questionable, unfortunately people can't tell the difference between them and someone who just looks scruffy. Same goes for the students unfortunately. Most people would rather take unflattering pictures of me, party, and come in the next day asking for extensions. I had a lot of classmates who would never pick up the slack, leaving me to do most of the grunt work. The upside is the facilities are top notch, especially the media labs. I'll be honest though, your better off going to CCC.

This is the worst Peralta college, I paid to take a French class that was 234 dollars not including the two hundred dollar book I need for the class. About a week after I paid for everything I got a call that the class was cancelled, I got my money back for the class but when I tried to return my two hundred dollar text book they said I couldn’t. This is my first year in college and I am paying for everything out of my own pocket, so 200 dollars is a whole lot of money for me to pay for a book I can’t even use now.

Best college to go to. It is close to BART. Not only that the counselors are easy to talk to. Their veteran resource center is the best in the Peralta district. They are very knowledgeable and know what you should do to get to to the next step. Also, their learning resource center is very helpful with more than a dozen tutor will to help you in math, Spanish, French, and other subjects. They have a writing workshop that helps you with writing papers. If you enroll into it, you can earn credits toward your English requirements. EOPS, DSPS, FAFSA these are some of the thing they can help you with if you qualify.
