This is my new favorite shop in Berkeley. I was late in discovering it because of staying home a lot, but when I wandered in I couldn't tear myself away because of the array of beautiful handmade, one of a kind pieces.This is the perfect place to find gifts for all your friends -- and yourself! The charming owner, Max, has exquisite taste, and is friendly and helpful. I found lovely jewelry for me and my guy bought a gorgeous penknife with malachite inlay, with matching money clip, as well as several elegant carved wooden boxes, and a mesmerizing sand painting. We went back to find the perfect gift for a friend. Please support this local shop and the many artisans who make these beautiful, original pieces, in an array of prices to fit any budget, housed in a sparkling clean and airy space. Buy local!
