We purchased a new home a few years back. We were a little reluctant and hesitate to go for it, but we took the risk and made an offer. The seller didn't get any other offer because the hardwood floor on the 1st floor were all severely warped due to the humidity possibly escaped from the foundation. Then again, we took the risk hoping the foundation of the house didn't have any major issue.nnThe seller accepted our only offer. After we have the escrow closed, we have immediately called Raymond to evaluate how bad is the condition of the cement underneath all the damaged hardwood floor. He removed some of the hardwood pieces and explained the previous contractor did a terrible job. They simply glued the plywood on top of the cement floor then nailed the hardwood flooring on top on them. There were all these nasty and messy glues all over the place. But Raymond assured us the problem was not as severe and these nasty glues can be removed by a grinding/sanding machine.nHe also recommend us to use the Hallmark's engineered wood to have peace of mind about the humidity possibly escaped from the foundation. He also took his time in explaining that he will use the type of glues above the cement floor to shield off the moisture as well as gave us a very reasonable estimate. We really liked his level of details and hired him to do the job. I have to say that no disappointment at all! Our floor is beautifully done and often gotten compliments from our friends and neighbors. It has been sometimes now that we haven't seen any warped flooring issue. The risk we took did paid off after all!

We hired Raymond to replace the carpet for our townhouse in Oakland. He is very friendly and knowledgeable. He went to take the measurements and gave us a reasonable price. On the day of installation, his crew showed up on time and installed the carpet professionally in one day. They cleaned up everything and threw away the old carpet.
